In this article we'll discuss how to remove content from a board you can edit
TABLE OF CONTENTS
Editing rights
You have the ability to edit any board you have visibility to. However, if you are not the original publisher of the board, when you go t make an edit, you will instead be making a copy of the original board that gets edited.
If you are the original publisher of a board and you edit it, that edit will be propagated to everyone who has visibility to the board.
Ex: You create a board called "Sales overview" and publish it to the entire organization. You then remove one of the reports on that board and save the changes. Now everyone who views that board will no longer see the report you removed on that board. Any boards that are copies of the "Sales overview" board you created will be unaffected.
Removing content
To remove content from a board:
- Navigate to the board you want to remove content from
- Open then the action sub-menu in the upper right corner of the main section of the board by clicking the button with the 3 "..."
- Select "Edit dashboard"
- Every item on the dashboard will appear as a "card" with a red "remove" button in the upper right corner:
- Clicking the red remove button will immediately remove the item from your board.
If this was done in accident, simply click the "cancel" button instead of the "save" button in the upper right corner of the main section of the board. This will undo all changes you have made - If you are happy with the changes, click the green "save" button in the upper right corner of the main section of the board
