Report definition

Active plant count by strain is a donut report pulling data from the plant batch and plants tables in METRC. Drill-downs are enabled for this report, and their order is:

  1. Strain
  2. License
  3. Growth phase
  4. Location

Report intent

Active plant count by strain shows the total number of plants growing under each METRC license in Appature, grouped by strain. The count includes both active plant batches and tagged plants.

Assumptions

This report assumes your organization is keeping your plants and plant batches up-to-date in METRC. Additionally, the count includes immature and tagged plants. Rules by state vary whether plant batches count against plant counts for licensing. The report does not consider "harvested" or "destroyed" plants. The report also does not filter out any "mom" plants you may be growing, which would explain any strains with a very low plant count.

Filters

Only active plants and plant batches are considered.

Calculations

When pulling in plant batch data, we only consider the "untracked count" on plant batches, to avoid double-counting plants.
